Satgur de charnan ton vadda koi theerath asthaan nahin; Bin gur de hai pashu eh banda ban sakda insaan nahin. Gur charnan di dhoorhi lai ke mal mal ke ishnan karo; Tan man dhan sadhan ton apna khushi khushi kurban karo. Sadh di sewa oh kar sakke jis ton aap karave eh; Avtar oh gave shift hari di jis ton aap gavave eh. |

There is no place of pilgrimage and holy bath greater than the holy feet of the True Master; Without the True Master man is just an animal and cannot become a true human being. Seek and besmear the dust of the True Master’s holy feet and bathe in it thoroughly; Sacrifice cheerfully your physical, mental and material assets unto the True Saint. Only that person can serve the True Saint, from whom he himself gets it done; Avtar says, only that person can sing the praise of God, whom he [the True Saint] himself blesses for it. |
Meaning
There is no pilgrimage and holy bath greater than Holy feet of True Master. A man cannot become a true human being and remains an animal without a True Master in life. One should seek and bathe in the dust of True Master’s holy feet, and happily sacrifice physical, mental and material assets unto the True Master. Only that person can serve a True Saint from whom he wants. Avtar says, only that person can sing the praise of God whom he wants.
